Our Tuesday Moms’ Meetings are designed to support mothers of children with special needs by providing a comfortable venue for sharing resources, exchanging ideas and advice, and strengthening mothers as they relate to others in a similar situation. These meetings occur 1-2 times a month at 9:30 AM in our building. About half of these meetings feature a guest speaker addressing topics of interest to our mothers, including medical needs, recreational opportunities, financial advice, educational resources, and parenting advice, among others. During the remaining meetings, our mothers have a chance to network and learn from each other and our Family Coordinator.
