*Reserve your playground spot at least 24 hours in advance so FC staff can arrange for a teen volunteer to accompany your child at the playground.

Friendship Circle Summer Virtual Programs
 

Friendship Island Virtual Camp Experience

Friendship Island Virtual Summer Camp meets Monday through Friday and connects exceptional youth with typical youth virtually for three hours of fun and entertainment.  The island theme has been swimmingly successful! So far, the participants befriended pirates and discovered treasures...and met some new friends along the way. Fun activities include crafts, time for social skills learning, lunch bunch, talent shows, magic shows, puppet shows, and animal shows. The best way to travel through summer is through friendSHIP!

Teen Scene Boys

Teen Scene Boys meets once a week and it connects exceptional teen boys with typical teen boys for games and meaningful conversations. Themes include fitness, favorite conversation topics with friends, video games, scavenger hunts, and more.

 

Teen Scene Girls

Teen Scene Girls meets once a week and connects exceptional teen girls with typical teen girls for games and meaningful conversations. Themes include home tours, Charades, dancing, get-to-know-you games, scavenger hunts, yoga  and more.

Young Adult Men and Young Adult Women

Young Adult Men and Young Adult Women meet once a week and connects exceptional young adults with typical young adults for games and meaningful conversations.  Themes include games of BINGO and Charades, scavenger hunts, yoga and more.

Social Skills for Boys and for Girls

Social Skills meets once a week (boys and girls meet separately) and connects exceptional youth with typical youth. Participants play fun games to enhance their social skills.

FC Cleveland Connects with FC International Programs

Friendship Circle Cleveland is joining Friendship Circle International for more fun! Additional virtual programs are offered for Cleveland participants and volunteers to give them more opportunities for more fun and entertainment throughout the day…. and meet new friends. Topics vary from puppet shows, magic shows, cooking, yoga, music and more!

Friendship Circle Playground Open

Friendship Circle’s playground is open for scheduled visits. Schedule a two-hour block of time and Friendship Circle will arrange for a friend to join your child. Click here to sign up.

 

NEW – Art in the Park

A Friendship Circle adult volunteer will bring her talents to Friendship Circle for Art in the Park. This weekly program will connect exceptional youth with typical youth at the Friendship Circle playground.  Participants will have creative fun and socially engage with others in a face-to-face, in-person environment while social distancing practices are enforced.   Friendship Circle Visitor COVID-19 Guidelines

 

  • Conduct daily health assessments - Fill out the online COVID-19 assessment form each time you visit for indoor or outdoor play. COVID-19 assessment form can be filled out if all members of the household are in good health and no fever, upset stomach, sore throat, or other symptoms are showing.  Please ensure that there has been no contact with anyone who has been tested positive over the last 14 days.  
  • Face covering protocol - Visitors are required to wear a face mask when in the building.  When outdoors, as long as visitors are keeping a social distance, they are not required to wear a face mask.
    Note:  The mask order does not apply to children under the age of 10 or any other minor who cannot safely wear a face covering
  • Maintain social distancing of at least 6 feet apart at all times.
  • Wash hands / sanitize frequently (every hour if indoors)
