FC Building Rental Agreement form

The following Friendship Circle rooms may be used:

1. The entire facility
2. Social Hall – Multi-Purpose Room
3. Sanctuary – Multi-Purpose Room (Theater Style – 200 max or Banquet Style – 100 max)
4. Teen Lounge
5. Room 1 – Art Room
6. Room 2 – Multi-Purpose Room
7. Rooms 3 and 4 – Gross Motor Room
8. Kitchen 

RENTAL POLICIES

Cancellation
Renter will incur a cancellation fee of $250 if renter cancels this contract, for any reason, no less than seven (7) days prior to the date of the event. If renter cancels less than seven (7) days prior to the date of the event, the entire amount of the rental fee is non-refundable.

Set-Up
Friendship Circle will setup tables and chairs only. Renter is responsible for organizing all other setup requirements (via caterer or other appropriate vendor) as required. The renter is required to organize a meeting between Friendship Circle, the renter, the caterer and any other vendor to discuss the arrangements for the event. This meeting must take place at least 30 days prior to the date of the event.

Catering
A caterer that holds a Kosher catering certificate from an Orthodox Jewish Rabbinical Authority recognized by Rabbi Yossi Marozov of Friendship Circle must provide any food or beverage served in the Friendship Circle facility. Upon request, a copy of the Kosher certification must be submitted to Friendship Circle. No alcoholic beverages will be served to minors. Anyone in violation of this rule will be asked to leave.

Decoration
No nails, thumbtacks, tape, or staples will be used on the Friendship Circle ceilings or walls for decorations. All other decorations will be removed by the renter prior to leaving.

Decorum
The renter and its guests will conduct themselves with proper decorum and in a manner consistent with the Orthodox Jewish nature of the facility. This includes, but is not limited to, no mixed dancing between men and women and no singing by a female when one or more men are present.

Security
Friendship Circle reserves the right to inspect all materials brought in to the facility and to control all functions and events to ensure the safety of all visitors to the facility.

Smoking
Friendship Circle is a non-smoking facility. Smoking is only permitted outside of the building in the "outer" areas of the parking lot.

Damage
Renter agrees to keep the Friendship Circle building in good condition and shall not permit any unusual wear, damage (including to walls, floors and/or carpets), breakage or theft to occur. Renter shall pay Friendship Circle for any loss or liability incurred to Friendship Circle during event due to renter’s negligence and/or malfeasance. Friendship Circle agrees to otherwise maintain current and appropriate liability and property insurance.

Clean-Up
At the conclusion of the event, renter agrees (via caterer or other appropriate vendor) to bag any and all trash and debris generated from the event and place in the trash cans located in the parking lot.

Force Majeure
Should any or all of the facilities be un-rentable for any reason, including fire, natural disaster, labor or utility troubles, this agreement shall be terminated and Friendship Circle shall refund the deposit to the renter. In these events, Friendship Circle shall not be liable for the loss of profit or other consequential damages.

Loss to Renter
Renter agrees that Friendship Circle is not responsible for damage to or loss of any item left in the facility or in the Friendship Circle parking lot prior to and/or following the event.

This agreement is between Friendship Circle of Cleveland, Inc. and the renter.
Friendship Circle agrees to lease to the Host (renter) and the Host (renter) agrees to rent from Friendship Circle the facilities as checked off below, based on the terms and conditions above, located at 27900 Gates Mills Blvd., Pepper Pike, Ohio 44124.
